§ 2-2. Receipt of gifts.

Gifts to the city with a monetary value of $500.00 or greater may only be accepted with the approval of the city council. The city council shall consider the cost of operation and maintenance before it accepts a gift. Gifts with a monetary value of less than $500.00 may be accepted on behalf of the city by the city manager.
