§ 10-28. Hearing required for new licenses.

  • A public hearing for the issuance of a license for a new premises, or for a different licensee at the same premises, shall be preceded by ten days' published notice. In addition, the public hearing for the issuance of a license for a new premises shall also be preceded by a ten days' mailed notice to all owners of property located within 500 feet of the boundaries of the property on which the business that is the subject of the application is located. A public hearing is not required for temporary license applications, or for off-sale 3.2 percent malt liquor licenses.
